New Venue - New Format - New Date

On Wednesday 18 February the more important formal dress ball of Ollscoil na hÉireann Gaillimh will again redefine what such an event is about. In 2006 we enlarged the Arts Ball to be by far the biggest ball, moved it to a Wednesday to make a two day mini fastival of craic soaked events, launched the first online booking system for a university event, introduced wristbands as part of new security measures and caused scenes of wild desperation as everyone tried to get a ticket.
Get ready for the next Great Leap Forward!

The Arts BÁL is not on the date as printed in the SU Student Diary and will instead take place on the Céadaoin of the week following Múscailt. This gives everyone the chance to enjoy that great festival and still come to the biggest social event of the academic calendar. The ticéid are still priced at 60 euro (30 euro for the 'afters') but what will be in store for ye on the night makes this the best value goin'.

Our online queue booking system will go live here Dé hAoine 23/01/09 and
the ticéid can be collected Dé Luain 26/01/09 in Áras na Mac Léinn.
