Our general Cumann Staire trip abroad for 2008-09 is to visit our history comrades of the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. In January 2006 we first visited this part of the world and had a fantastic time in Mainz, Beckingen and Trier. This year's trip will include time in Mainz, Heidelberg and Worms spent with local students from our sister department of history of Mainz and will involve historical sightseeing and craic filled late nights!

Déardaoin: Gaillimh bus, flight 6:55, Frankfurt-Hahn 9:45, bus to Mainz, meet local students, fáiltiú in uni. 13:45, drop bags at appartments, guided tour around Mainz, (oíche) Fachschaft party night on campus.
Aoine: Trip to Heidelberg, (oíche) meet at the Nibelungentower in Worms for dinner to start the weekend.
Sathairn: Explore Worms, (oíche) Gaeil run amuk in Worms.
Domhnach: Return to Mainz, (oíche) sample local pubs.
Luan: Have a look around the university, maybe attend a seminar, (oíche) Frankfurt-Hahn flight 18:15, BÁC 19:15, Gaillimh.
